jay bavers

Jay Bavers

Another member of the Bavers family is Jay, the chief craftsman. If he could claim his first exposure and training at age five under his grandfather, he would show over forty years experience. He also studied under Santini and Birkhill as well as Shane Ferro and Paul Stankard at U. of M.; Herb Babcock at The Center for Creative Studies in Detroit; and Rhodi Rovner at the Corning Museum in Corning, NY. He is the third known generation of glass workers in his family, and proficient in all disciplines.
